Other Features
This page accumulates features that have not been recently reviewed and may be poorly documented. Most of these features are not version-specific as there is no clear indication when they will be implemented.
Eventually, due to high demand and developer interest, some of these features will get their own pages and will appear on a version-specific RoadMap page.
Some ideas here are likely to meet strong objections from other developers. If you want to take on a feature listed here, please discuss your plans with others first.
Unclassified features
- Document client streams and write new protocol support
- Fix kqueue bugs once and for all (ie, delete events for closed FDs)
- Event channels would be more interesting, but less useful w/ a single-threaded Squid main loop;
